Chapter History

A new chapter was born into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on April 27, 1996. Eighteen professional women were officially chartered as Vidalia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Presiding over the chartering ceremony were Soror Marvette Thomas, Louisiana State Coordinator, and Soror Georgia Humphrey, Area II Cluster Coordinator of the Southwest Region.
